“A delightful and instructive read. Written in an engaging style with twists and turns—just like life. The novel features authentic characters whose destinies intersect in dramatic moments, portraying the struggle for personal happiness and the hope-filled search for a soulmate,” adds author Michiela Poenaru.
*Beyond Time, Beyond Content, written by Arina Avram, is a classic novel that, once you start reading, you won’t be able to put down. It serves as a parable, illustrating the saying that life can destroy you, but it cannot defeat you. The novel provides answers to some of the most pressing questions we all ask ourselves. „Between the written lines, one can feel the musicality of the emotions blossoming throughout the pages. The authenticity of expression and the development of the action, highlighting the maturation process of the characters, showcase the writing talent of author Arina Avram,” writes literary critic Emanuela Istrate.
*Coincidence as a Golden Number, also written by Arina Avram, has been praised by critics for its philosophical depth, realistic plot development, and, not least, the magic of its narrative.
*”ARINA AVRAM’s books have achieved great success, being cited in scientific works and included in school textbooks. Her works, Famous Women and Famous Women from Romania, come highly recommended by Professor Neagu Djuvara, a laureate of the French Academy.
*Another notable work, Encyclopedia of Wisdom, has also garnered significant attention.
*Additionally, the encyclopedia Great Cities of the World received praise from writer Horia Gârbea, who described it as an impressive blend of rich information and an engaging presentation of each city’s attractions.
*Furthermore, The Encyclopedia of Great Wonders, Great Mysteries, which has been sold in Japan, was described by the press as an essential survival manual, offering insights into the secrets and miracles of a world where we can be more than mere spectators.”
*ARINA AVRAM has also authored poetry books and children’s books. “I especially love the poems where the poet transitions from the concrete to the abstract within a single piece. She achieves this beautifully in ‘Winter’ and ‘Fall,’ both of which, by the way, offer delightful imagery and metaphors. ‘Pretty Much Too Beloved Flower’ also moves from the physical to the philosophical,” wrote American Catherine Beeman about ARINA AVRAM’s poetry collection Why I’m Yours, Even Though I’m Not Yours.
*The book Famous Women: A Small Encyclopedia by ARINA AVRAM was voted one of the 25 best titles published by All Publishing House.
*The book Beyond Time, Beyond Content is available in prestigious libraries, including the National Library of Israel, the Harvard University Library, and the Stanford University Library in the USA.

Arina Avram was granted the Journalist license at the University of Bucharest in 1997. Since 2009, she had been working at Adevărul newspaper and is currently working at the largest Romanian national newspaper “Click!”. She also worked at Evenimentul zilei (1992–1996), Cotidianul (1996–1998), National (2000–2006), Adevarul (2006–2009) and collaborated with Radio Cultural and Expres magazin. She made her debut under the guidance of critic George Pruteanu. As Journalist, she made a name of herself especially because of the interviews conducted by her with poet Mircea Dinescu and writer Petru Popescu between 1993 and 1996. In the same period, she made herself noticed thanks to the meetings which she had scheduled with writer Octavian Paler and critic Romul Munteanu. Ph.D Neagu Djuvara, French Academy laureate, recommended her book series Femei celebre (Female celebrities) and Femei celebre din ROMANIA (Romanian female celebrities)(.amazon.co.uk/Femei-celebre-Romania-Arina-Avram/dp/9737240405), by stating that „The series comprising 109 jewels dedicated by Arina Avram to some female celebrities as a result of an exceptional documenting work performed by the author which is shown in the vast blibliographic work, guides us throughout history (Antique, Middle Ages, Modern Ages, 20th Century) in a journey which lets us take a break and witness the lives of some female heroes which are both frivolous, capable of terrible acts, profound, inspired, talented, capable of sacrifice but in any way proving character strength ”. Writer Horia Gârbea writes under the title “An urban world in a book” that “The mark of present-day civilization but also of history consistency, the city, is the mixture of national traits and tradition with the becoming in time ”. This is revealed to the reader in the book „Marile orase ale lumii“ („World’s largest cities“) by Arina Avram published by Editura Tritonic. The book presents in alphabetical order over 150 big cities from all of our continents. For each city, the reader is provided with a 2-3 page mini-guide. Cities are rather presented from a sentimental point of view than conventional, but standard facts such as number of inhabitants, currency, language are not missing. The book mixes a considerable amount of information with the expressive depiction of sightseeings for each place.
Journalist Sebastian S. Eduard from local newspaper Jurnalul Național writes about “Mari Minuni Mari Mistere” that “such a book written by Arina Avram, an Encyclopedia of Wonders, Witnesses and Miracle Workers is not just a list of the Ireal, but also a spiritual index, an individual survival guidebook which helps the reader to learn the secrets and wonders of a world in which we can be more than just simple bystanders ”.( http://jurnalul.ro/cultura/carte/enciclopedia-minunilor-521882.html)
„A phylosofical and unique novel with ezoteric traits published by well-known Romanian publishing house Alfa is „Coincidenţa ca număr de aur” („Coincidence through a golden number”) , the writer’s last novel tackles life and the world from an original perspective which is quite unexpected. Beside the plot and the suspense which is kept until the very end, the readers uncover unlikely explanations regarding the meaning of coincidences in our day-to-day lives. The series of hypothesis presented in the book fundamentally change the way we perceive destiny in key with the very first irrational number defined in history which depicts the beauty and the perfection of what our tangible existence means and creates. The novel is realist and outlines scenes where trustworthy characters evolve in which readers can get absorbed by presenting the spirtitual Universe of the main character but without withholding the narrative and descriptions. The thrilling and inspiring meditation of life gets us closer to the world through the eyes of a teenager whose experiences make us ask essential questions”, writes journalist Odette Popescu.(http://minunimisteresecreteleterrei.blogspot.ro/2014/05/o-carte-plina-de-mister-o-carte.html)
Poems
PRETTY MUCH TOO BELOVED FLOWER
I saw it somewhere on the street
Bright, pure, fatal
It smiled, subtly, trembling
Pouring around perfume and sunburst.
Take me, whispered it, without words
Murmured she, under the rose, calling, wise,
Sad and suave, slender pink petals
Severing bitterly under mute winds.
I took it home with my last money
I’ve been seeing it in the window for years and years
Like an angel smiling again and again,
The joy of beauty to comfort me sweet.
I gave it everything I can give, I took care of it
I’ve always fed it with the gold of love.
But the more I adored it,
The more it faded, yellowish, and I lost it.
I was crying in vain,
Too much love burned it
One thing is clear, without doubt,
We cannot have ever what we love too much.
LOVE, THE SECRET OF LOVE
Without love,
Children would not live
Mothers would not watch their growth,
They would not bother to cradle them, to sing to them
To care for them, day by day, with sorrow to fight
To feed them, to teach them, protect them and change them
Night after night,
Until exhaustion.
Without love,
There would be no more family,
The woman would not obey the man, never
The man would not help the woman
And he would not put up with her quirks, ever.
Without love there would be no mercy,
People would hunt each other, all the time,
Without love it would always be wars,
Fear, desolation, only quarrels, everytime.
Without love, it would be just suffering,
Brothers would never hold their hands,
No one would help anyone,
Everyone would only care for his wounds.
No one would care for the sufferers,
No one would care about the pain of the parents.
They would not even bury them in the ancestral churchyards.
Without love there would be no countries,
There would be no ties and traditions,
There would be no unity, call of blood,
The joy of raising a flag, the happiness of unions.
Without love there would be no ornamental plants
Cultivated with adoration on the streets and gardens,
In the windows flowers would no longer smile,
Nobody would feed them ever with affections.
Without love in vain would be sea,
The waves in vain would toss forever,
There would be no hugs on the sand,
No one would enjoy the charm of the beach ever.
Without love, in fact, there would be no children
Mankind would end if love would die someday.
Without love, the sun is still vainly
Nobody and nothing would need his comfort,
The whole earth would be desert, everyday.
Without love all is vain.
IF
If you donˈt know the pain
You canˈt enjoy the state of well -being.
If you donˈt know the darkness,
You canˈt enjoy the light.
If you donˈt know the wickedness,
You canˈt enjoy the kindness.
If you donˈt know the failure,
You canˈt enjoy the triumph.
If you donˈt know the defeat,
You canˈt enjoy the victory.
If you donˈt know the loss,
You canˈt enjoy the welfare.
If you donˈt know the failing
You canˈt enjoy the success.
If you donˈt know the weakness,
You canˈt enjoy the power.
If you donˈt know the humiliation,
You canˈt enjoy the respect.
If you donˈt know the contempt,
You canˈt enjoy the praise.
If you donˈt know the hatred,
You canˈt enjoy the love.
If the only man I ever loved and still I love, would believe me, all the flowers in the world would remain in flower forever.
MY FATHER
My father is over the waters and over the mountains
Over the hills, over the fields.
My father is everywhere,
Everywhere and nowhere.
It’s been years since he left
I can not believe he will not come back
Since then I have always been waiting for him, unceasingly
Everything he ever touched burns my hands.
My father is over the seas and over the valleys,
Over fires, over abysses
My father is everywhere,
Everywhere and nowhere.
He was always by me in difficult moments
He stopped the storms on their way to me
For years he was my rock
And now I do not even know if he lived.
My father is over clouds and over stars
Over the moon, over the sun
My father is everywhere,
Everywhere and nowhere.
Yet he is still in me, in every atom,
He lives in my thoughts
But we can not meet,
I can only see him in dreams.
SPRING
The sky again smiles, the sun shimmering
Its eyes flood light
It scatters gems from its streamers
And it fills the air with sweet heat.
Spring passes through valleys and plains
Its veils green everything in the way.
The trees bow to give them life
The creatures gulp its gentle breath.
Spring, girl with flower smell,
Coltish and very caressed,
You’re running away, hurried, from year to year
Before we can feel you fully.
The winter sends you away with chills
You can hardly defeat it eventually,
Summer blows you with hot air
In vain time is flowing, as we know …
THE LAST ARISTOCRAT
Poem dedicated to Neagu Djuvara, great writer and historian
From eternity arised,
From anguish and despair
A gentle genius has kneaded
Bearing the beam of immortality.
From pure blood of voivodes,
Good spirit, hot thought
A brave Romanian was incarnate
With his head full of glitter.
With noble charm, obscure,
It has crossed the destiny,
Always on a knife-edge
Always offering more than he has received.
No matter how much he suffered
In the long estrangement
He never upset anyone,
He gave even more, with more honor.
He returned to his country at sunset,
Bringing light into cloudy haze
He sowed treasures in the fields of eternity,
He raised stark symbols in the chaos of oblivion.
He has gone through bloom and leaf,
He sprinkled emeralds into the sea, gold and jade on the mountains,
He filled souls of wisdom
From the overflow that he received from infinite divine majesty.
When fruitfulness acquire the name of fulfillment,
When he grew wings of immortality,
He left to take his place among the stars
From where he will watch our tranquility.
He could only offer kindness,
He looked at the world only with understanding and indulgence,
He loved Romanians with all his being,
More than they all loved him.
WINTER
White, white, white
The snow colors the view,
The field, the trees, the houses are swallowed by white
The faded moon is tangled in my hair.
White, white, white
The snow colors the day,
Hours, minutes, seconds are swallowed by white
The faded sun is tangled in my hair.
It’s snowing, it’s snowing, it’s snowing
Silver strikes in the white order,
The whole earth confesses white,
The sky is so heavy due to the white flow.
My loneliness is white,
The day melts like snowflakes
Under the snow deluge, your voice is what I have more saint
Your beauty is a treasure in my soul under the veil of falling stars..
